Hyun (Lisa) Kim is a licensed acupuncturist and has managed to develop the simplest yet most effective form of all Eastern healing for PAIN, Wellness, and anti-aging. Born in Korea and raised in Japan, her skills are in using her family’s traditional Sogag (Western River) Circulation Therapy, acupuncture, magnet therapy, electro stimulation machine, moxabustion, natural herbal medicine, and more.
With her experience specializing in pain, G.I disorders, integrated facial (European and Meridian Facial), and non-invasive wrinkle treatment, she practiced throughout her youth and into adulthood with her mother Dr. Bae at her clinic in Japan for over 25 years. She holds a masters of Science degree from Samra University, and has had an apprenticeship under Dr. Tae Choo, Dr. Chun Qian, and Dr. Michael Redmon. She is fluent in English, Korean and Japanese.

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical technique for unblocking Qi and blood circulation by inserting needles on acupoints which located on meridian. Acupuncture increases our pain threshold by producing B-endorphin, dynorphin (a short sequences of amino acids which mimic the effect the effect of opiates in the brain), and enkephalins (a pentapeptide involved in regulating pain and nociception n the body). It also increases blood/qi circulation, and body temperature, white blood cell, T-cells and anti-bodies in the body (responsible for our immune function), reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and regulate blood sugar levels.
